Application for Communication between Volunteers and Seniors

The Moudrá Síť app provides a platform for seniors and volunteer assistants to communicate and help seniors solve digital technology problems. The main goal of this project is to educate seniors and to increase their digital literacy. This thesis focuses also on technologies for web application development, the use of CRM systems for database development, Vercel web hosting, and web accessibility. Next, the basic principles and technologies for creating chatbots are presented. The result of the thesis is a functional web application already tested by seniors as well as a comparison of two chatbot solutions based on the GPT model and the Dialogflow platform using its knowledge base.
Knowledge of population of retirement age in the field of protection in selected area in South Bohemian region

Every individual is daily threatened in his life whether with big or small events, without thinking about it. Based from this fact it is important to know recommended ways of behaving in these crisis situations. Population structure in Czech republic is various and we shouldn´t overlook the fact that Czech population is aging. There are people among us in retirement age, who have the same rights to be appropriatelly prepared for extraordinary events. Bachelor thesis is diveded in two parts basic parts, theoretical and research part. The theoretical part explains a characterizes the population protection, including a brief history population protection in Czech republic. Primary part of the theoretical work is about main tasks of population protection and about the integrated rescue system. Additionally the thesis is devoted to senior educational system. Senior education contributes not only to their autonomy, dignity a self-realization but also to full integration into society. The key of this thesis was to found awareness of population in retirement age in selected institution in city Zliv in area of population protection. It was also determined to found knowledge about basics of first aid . For establishing the knowledge of population in retirement age the questionnaire solution was used. The questionnaire was dived in two parts, first part included most questions regarding population protection area, second part owned several questions for orientation findings in basics of first aid. The questionnaire applied to seniors living in nursing home in Zliv, where 28 seniors took part in this survey. The purpose of this thesis was to increase the awareness of seniors in area, when their life, health or property could be in danger. For this purpose leaflet was created, that summarize basic knowledge of population protection and first aid, which was dedicated to all participants of the questionnaire investigation. Questionnaires were evaluated and graphically processed. Analysis of current state of population awareness in retirement age in nursing home in Zliv in area of population protection turned out that seniors have insufficient knowledge about this issue. There is also shown by this research, that seniors have relatively sufficient knowledge of first aid. We can also say, that the survey hasn´t recorded any tragic results, but also it hasn´t shown any high success rate. It will never be useless when people in postproductive age will be taken care in any case in improving awareness in population protection, first aid or in other problematics, because everyone in every age deserves to. Assumed use of this thesis could be as study material for professional and general public.
Analysis of conceptual framework of educational management in peer-reviewed pedagogical journals in 2000-2017

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the conceptual framework of education management in peer-reviewed journals. The theoretical part is focused on the summary of the existing knowledge about all contexts related to the field of education management from the point of view of the time perspective. It draws on both foreign and domestic sources. Attention will also be paid to the current issue of terminologically uninterrupted important educological terms related to the management of education. Further chapters will focus on educational theories, leadership perspectives in education, lifelong learning, adult education and senior education. The research part is focused on the content analysis of the Czech peer- reviewed pedagogical journals Pedagogika, Pedagogická orientace and Studia paedagogica. Its aim is to analyze how the conceptual framework of education management in the years 2000-2017 developed in them. Based on the analysis, answers will be sought on the areas of management of education and the subject to which the most attention is paid, which topics are most frequently addressed in relation to adult education and senior citizens, how the frequency of these topics has evolved, and whether there are some common patterns among the magazines analyzed. Selected questions of care for the elderly in terms of social inclusion

The diploma thesis is focused on senior's education and aims to find out whether seniors are interesed in education and whether this interest is influenced by the age or financial situation of the individual. The whole work is primarily based on the context of the National Action Plan for Positive Aging for the period 2013-2017, where social inclusion of seniors focuses on the areas of ensuring and protecting the human rights of elderly people, lifelont learning, healthy aging, a quality environment for the elderly, volunteering and intergenerational cooperation, employement of older people and care for the most fragile seniors with limited self-sufficiency. The thesis was divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are described in detail the necessary terms related to the given issue and the practical part includes the chosen target of work, hypothesis, methodology, which subsequently tests these hypotheses, the results of the survey and the final discussion.
Czech public libraries as an institution of lifelong learning with a focus on seniors

(in English): This thesis is dedicated to projects of lifelong learning in Czech public libraries. Its aim is to examine to what extent Czech public libraries are devoted to lifelong learning, especially retiree education, and further, to analyze specific educational projects. Considering the demographic development of the Czech population, there is highlighted the importance and the significance of organizing such programs in the libraries. The first part of the thesis presents theoretical basis and explains terms such as lifelong learning and education, learning society, and formal, non-formal, and informal education. Another part of the thesis deals with gerontopedagogy and old age pensioners. Specific forms of adult education are also presented here. In the practical part, there is an analysis of educational projects of libraries and the questionnaires of the participants are evaluated.
Education of Seniors in Civil Society Organizations in the Czech Republic

Organisations of different type and legal status engage in senior education in the Czech Republic. Civil society organisations available online are not the dominant providers of educational courses and activities for seniors in the Czech Republic. Civil society organisations represent 17 % of all providers of educational courses available online. Six civil society organisations engaged in senior education were found in the region Vysočina. Participants of the educational courses consider all activities practised in these courses to be education because they learn new skills there. They appreciate these courses for the education itself, for meaningful free time spending and for the opportunity of active life even in the time of senescence. For nearly the most important point considered by the participants so as the organisators is connecting and broadening of social contacts of the participants and creating of social network. This can be considered for the most distinct manifestation of civil society concerning senior education.
Old age in the context of human life and the problem of discrimination against seniors

This thesis concerns the old age in the context of human life and the problems of senior discrimination. It's divided into two parts, theoretic and empiric. In theoretic part the old age and ageing are characterized, the aspects of old age are analysed and the role of gerontopedagogic is defined. With respect to demographic prospect, the gravity of senior discrimination is emphasized as an undesirable social-pathological phenomenon. In empiric part, the author tries to reveal on the basis of field research, whether today's seniors feel being discriminated. The extent of discrimination is being compared between the seniors living by them own in a big city (Prague) and smaller town (Vrchlabí). The work is focused on identification of circumstances, which can influence the senior discrimination, and tries to answer, which parts of social life are projected to the discrimination of old people. Study the Causes of Different Interests of Older People - Men and Women to the University of the Third Age

The study analyzes the courses of the University of the Third Age in the last five years, organized by the Centre for Lifelong Learning, Faculty of Management with emphasis on the participation of men and women. Given that at present the courses of the University of the Third Age usually significantly dominated by women, the aim of the analysis and subsequent survey of seniors determine the causes of this situation and try to suggest how these differences between the sexes limit.
EDUCATION AS AN IMPLEMENT FOR GREATER APPLICATION OF SENIORS ON THE LABOUR MARKET

This bachelor thesis is based on aging population and the ways in which elderly people adapt to ongoing changes in society. In times of new technologies and innovations, older population find it more difficult to stay economically active. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the influence of leisure education on active participation of senior population in job market, based on education in Universities of Third Age (U3A).I will analyze the influence of U3A on our seniors regarding their abilities and motivations in a job market in Czech Republic. Respondents will be divided into two groups. First will be from a capital city Prague, and the second from a smaller city Uherské Hradiště. The estimate number of respondents will be 100. This survey will be based on questioners which will help to establish if the percentage average of students or graduates of U3V in current employment in Czech Republic is higher then average of working seniors. Respondents will be divided into 5 year age groups. I will furthermore compare these results with working seniors in Germany. The theoretical part will include basic use of terminology regarding senior population, U3A and a job market. As well as description of motivation for studying It will include new development in universities and portfolios of educational courses. The practical part will include a quantitative research based on questionnaires and a universities SWOT analysis. The conclusion of my theses will either proof or refute the established hypothesis.
